Join Peace Learning Center for our premier fundraiser, the second annual Better Way Business Breakfast, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, from 8:00–9:30 a.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Last year, more than 300 business and community leaders helped raise over $75,000 to support youth and educator programs across Indianapolis and Central Indiana. This year, we’re building on that momentum with a powerful morning of connection, inspiration, and investment in a better way forward for our schools and communities.

Chill Out On a Hot Summer Day: Personal Peace Practices Retreat
Ready to chillax? Our quarterly Personal Peace Practices Retreat will hold its summer session on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at our Eagle Creek Park campus.
Led by Tim Nation, PLC Co-founder and Executive Director, this three-hour retreat offers guided breathing, emotional regulation tools, reflection, a nature walk, and quiet time to help participants respond to stress with greater calm and intention.
Tickets are $15, and park admission is free with registration.

The Indianapolis Recorder shined the spotlight on Peace Learning Center’s groundbreaking work at two IPS middle schools. PLC's restorative practices, peer mediation, and conflict resolution support are helping students and staff reduce conflict and build connections.
The story details the 90% drop in suspensions, showing what can happen when schools invest in prevention, relationships, and repair instead of punishment alone.

PLC's Sold-Out Summer Camps Sizzle with Laughter, Learning, Horses, and Swimming!
Each of PLC’s Summer Camps have sold out, which means campers are exploring, playing, moving, laughing, swimming, hiking, learning, and building new friendships along the way.
From June 1 through the end of July, campers are applying peace-building skills through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, creative projects, and meaningful time together.
